CJRW, Waymack & Crew Hit Award Jackpot for Lottery Spots

CJRW and its neighbors and frequent partners across Main Street, the video production team at Waymack & Crew, brought home some shiny trinkets last month at the Hermes Creative Awards and Telly Awards.

Ad campaigns for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism were among the medalists, judged from some 6,000 entries from design pros in the United States and beyond.

“This is Winning,” a TV campaign for the lottery, took one of four Platinum Hermes Awards, the top honors in the contest, which is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. The winners were announced in Dallas.

A similar push for the lottery, “The Heist,” took platinum for campaign and for directing. The other platinum award honored a series of tourism spots.

“The Heist” campaign, which promoted the lottery’s Million Dollar Scratch-Off Ticket, added four Silver Telly Awards, which honor TV and digital video work, for directing, editing, videography/cinematography and general entertainment.

Dan Waymack, president of the video production company, called the Hermes and Telly awards “among the most respected” in the industry.
