Clark Contractors Purchases New Little Rock HQ for $7.5M

2 min read

Clark Contractors LLC of Little Rock has purchased the West River Office Park building at 11101 Anderson Dr. in Little Rock’s Pleasant Valley area, where it plans to move its headquarters this summer.

The $7.5 million transaction closed on May 31. The seller of the 38,000-SF building was 11101 Anderson Drive LLC, managed by Price Gardner.

Colliers Arkansas, which represented the buyer and seller in the deal, announced the transaction in a news release.

Clark Contractors’ headquarters for the past 14 years, a two-story, 11,230-SF building at 15825 Cantrell Rd., is now listed for sale at $2.2 million.

Founder and CEO William Clark told Arkansas Business that some minor renovations had already started at the company’s new headquarters, along with upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems. The company anticipates moving in before Labor Day.

The purchase was financed with a loan from Simmons Bank. Three tenants operate in the new building, Clark said, and the rental income will help the company make the payments.

Clark Contractors plans to occupy about 16,000 SF of the building. Although the company will not be hiring any new people after it relocates, it now has the ability to accommodate them, whereas it has just one empty office in its current building.

“We maximized the space in our existing building and didn’t have the capability to grow any more there,” Clark said. “The West River building gives us the additional space we need right now, and we can expand as the need arises for many years.”

Clark Contractors was the seventh-largest construction firm in the state by revenue in 2023 at $261.75 million.
