Former president Bill Clinton will travel to Fayetteville in October to be the main speaker at a ceremony dedicating a 7-foot sculpture of former University of Arkansas president and U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright, the UA said Friday.

The dedication is scheduled to part of a celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the German-American Fulbright Educational Exchange Program.

The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the walkway between Old Main and Vol Walker Hall on the UA campus.

The bronze sculpture was created by artist Gretta Bader.
