Plato’s Closet in Conway has a variety of men’s and women’s clothing as well as accessories for the teenager or 20-something looking for quality clothing at an affordable cost.
Jordan Prater, a former employee at Plato’s Closet in Fayetteville, and her husband, Seth, opened the Conway franchise earlier this year, their second location. The couple opened their first Plato’s Closet in Jonesboro. Thirteen employees work at the Conway location, and the Praters expect to hire more before the end of the year.
The store buys gently worn clothes, shoes and accessories from trendy brands such as American Eagle Outfitters and Forever 21.
The 5,000-SF store with 4,000 SF of selling space opened June 26 at 500 Amity Road, behind the Conway Commons shopping center. Plato’s Closet has six additional locations in Arkansas.
Seth Prater said people interested in selling items of clothing should bring them in to receive payment on the spot.
