Commerce Arkansas Expo Set for Wednesday in Little Rock

Forrest L. Wood, founder of Ranger Boats of Flippin, and Irwin L. Jacobs, owner of Ranger’s parent company, Minneapolis-based Genmar Holdings Inc., will be the featured guests at Wednesday’s Commerce Arkansas Power Lunch in Little Rock.

Randy Hopper, Ranger’s 19-year president and CEO, will host Wood and Jacobs’ discussion. Ranger employs 800 in the manufacturing of 5,000 boats and trailers a year, generating over $200 million in annual sales, according to a news release.

Delta Dental of Arkansas will present the Power Lunch at noon in the Governor’s Hall of the Statehouse Convention Center. The event is the centerpiece of "Commerce Arkansas: A Knowledge & Networking Experience," which will be held throughout the day in adjoining halls.

The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and Arkansas Business have partnered to present the business-to-business showcase, focusing on a target audience of business and organization owners, executives and CEOs from across the state.

The Commerce Arkansas Power Breakfast will begin at 8 a.m., while the Commerce After Hours will conclude the show from 4 to 6 p.m.
