The Conductor on Wednesday announced a new partnership with Metova Inc., the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and Startup Junkie to launch the 10x Cyber Accelerator.

The Conductor said the 20-week accelerator will provide targeted support to ventures with a focus on offering recommendations for scalable software and cybersecurity technology.

The application period accelerator opened Wednesday. The deadline is Feb.16, and the first class of 20 companies to participate in the program will be announced on Feb. 23.

Arkansas-based, growth-oriented firms with annual average revenue of between $100,000 to $10 million are eligible. Selected companies must commit to having at least one member of its senior executive team in attendance at meetings.

The accelerator will begin on March 6 and be held from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesdays in Conway. It will run through June 19 and culminate with a Demo Day that will be open to the public.

Glenn Crockett, co-founder and CEO of Dave Creek Media, will serve as the director of the accelerator.

The Conductor is public-private initiative of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Startup Junkie Consulting of Fayetteville and the Central Arkansas Venture Team aimed at driving entrepreneurship and innovation. The program provides mentoring, counseling, training and other services to startups, small businesses and emerging investors in central Arkansas.
