Controltek Inc. of Jonesboro Purchases $6.5M Facility

Controltek Inc. of Jonesboro is making a major leap forward.

The industrial service provider founded in 2007 closed last week on the $6.5 million purchase of the 180,000-SF facility at 3505 Airport Road that Camfil Air Pollution Control vacated when it opened a new facility on Nestle Road in 2022.

The sellers were Roger Moore and Porter Hurt.

That’s seven times the size of the 25,000 SF that Controltek has occupied on Orval Orlan Drive. Owner Shannon Steele says the additional space will allow him to add employees to his current roster of 48, who serve clients ranging from ABB to Big River Steel to Riceland Foods, but there will also be tenant space if anyone is in the market.

Steele says he expects to make the move by the end of February. After that, his previous facility will be available for sale or lease.
