Agriculture

Mikka Felty of Stanford (Greene County) and Gary Sitzer of Weiner (Poinsett County) have been elected to the board of directors of Riceland Foods Inc. of Stuttgart. Felty will serve as director for District Two and Sitzer for District Three. Benjamin Nobles of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is the new director for District Four.

Architecture & Engineering

Brahm Driver

Brahm Driver has been promoted to principal at Ecological Design Group of Little Rock. Driver has been the firm’s director of civil engineering since 2012.

Jeffery Sanders, founder and president of UHU Technologies of Richardson, Texas, has been inducted into the University of Arkansas College of Engineering Hall of Fame. John English, former dean of the college and a retired professor of industrial engineering, also was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Alissa Johnson

Alissa Johnson has been promoted to assistant branch manager at the Little Rock location of First Service Bank of Greenbrier.

Scott Street, CEO of Pediatrics Plus, has been appointed to the local board of directors in Conway for Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.

Chuck Robertson has been hired by Farmers & Merchants Bank and its Bank of Fayetteville division as northwest Arkansas business solutions sales officer. He is based in the Bank of Fayetteville’s main office in downtown Fayetteville.

Autumn Edmondson has joined the Little Rock office of Stone Bank of Mountain View as assistant network manager, and Franklin Settles has been named security officer and facilities manager.

Education

Annette Hux

Annette Hux has been named dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Science at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Hux, who joined A-State’s faculty in 2011, was appointed interim dean of the college in June, after the retirement of longtime dean Mary Jane Bradley.

Gabby Vidal-Torreira, an associate professor of Spanish at Hendrix College at Conway, has been selected as a fellow of the Associated Colleges of the South Mellon Academic Leadership. Vidal-Torreira’s fellowship project is focused on retention and student success, particularly as Hendrix students enter their first year.

David Patty has been selected as the next president of Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale. Most recently, Patty has worked as the senior manager of automation at Schwan’s Co. of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Amy Pennington

Amy Pennington has been named vice president for student affairs at Arkansas Tech University at Russellville. Pennington has held the position in an interim capacity since April 1.

Government

Alan Sutton, a cyber crime analyst for Arkansas State Police/Arkansas State Fusion Center, was awarded the National Fusion Center Association 2025 Award of Excellence in the Field of Fusion Center Outreach.

Health Care

LaRhonda Torrey, an advanced practice registered nurse, has joined Baptist Health Family Clinic-Van Buren.

Jackie Wilkerson

Jackie Wilkerson has been appointed chief nursing officer of Saline Health System of Benton.

Nonprofits

Tyrone Jaeger, chair of the English Department and director of the creative writing program at Hendrix College of Conway, was named interim director of the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Programs in Literature & Language upon the May 31 retirement of Hope Coulter.

Stephanie Quillen

Stephanie Quillen has been hired as the first chief people officer of 7 Brew of Fayetteville.

Technology

John Harrobin will be president of broadband provider Kinetic of Little Rock once its parent company, Windstream Holdings Inc. of Little Rock, completes its merger with Uniti Group Inc. of Little Rock.

Utilities

Scotty Hudgens was promoted to telecom installer technician 2 in the cable telecommunication systems department at Conway Corp., following his successful completion of the Broadband Wireless Specialist Certification through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers. David Ragland has been promoted to apprentice lineman 1 in the electric department at Conway Corp.

Jon Ross Henderson

Jon Ross Henderson, senior vice president of commercial lending at First Security Bank of Searcy, has joined the Conway Corp. board of directors.
