Dave Creek Media, the Conway-based marketing firm, has granted a franchise to PACS Media Group LLC in northwest Arkansas, giving it exclusive rights to the name and processes over an area that includes Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville.
The firm announced the arrangement, Dave Creek Media’s first franchise deal, in a news release Thursday. PACS Media is led by Tom Porterfield, a longtime accountant and business executive who is president and CEO of Porterfield & Co. CPA in Fayetteville and once ran operations for Ranger Boats.
Porterfield has been an adviser on franchise opportunities and a speaker on entrepreneurship, and his partners in PACS Media include “seasoned investors from Arkansas,” the release said.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the partnership with Tom and the many opportunities available in Northwest Arkansas,” said Glenn Crockett, CEO of Dave Creek Media. “We are excited about the potential in this market under his leadership.”
Crockett told Arkansas Business he couldn’t discuss financial details of the partnership.
From Porterfield’s vantage as an experienced CPA, “the numbers made perfect sense,” he said in the release. “The leadership team and I felt this was a safe investment with huge potential.”
Dave Creek Media focuses on the digital marketing space and promises a “results-focused platform” as well as a tailored “dashboard” to see where their marketing money is going, and what results those dollars are producing, the company says.
