Jennifer Loiacano
Jennifer Loiacano has been promoted to director of government affairs by the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas in Little Rock.
Previously senior counsel of regulatory, rates and compliance for Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc., Loiacano started with the cooperatives as a legal intern in 2014, and she has served them ever since.
“Jennifer’s knowledge of key issues facing Arkansas’ electric cooperatives is extensive,” said a statement from Bill Gossage, vice president of governmental affairs for the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, the name the companies use for AECC and AECI and the state’s 17 distribution cooperatives collectively. “She has been and will continue to be a great team member as we continue our mission to provide the reliable, affordable energy to the state’s electric cooperative members.”
Loiacano earned her legal degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, and she has a political science bachelor’s from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas comprise the distribution cooperatives, AECI, the cooperative that provides services to the distribution entities, and AECC, which generates and transmits wholesale electricity to all the cooperatives, which serve some 600,000 homes, farms and businesses in Arkansas and neighboring states.
