John Teeter, the new president of C.R. Crawford Construction of Fayetteville
C.R. Crawford Construction of Fayetteville said it was promoting John Teeter to president of the company to replace company founder and majority owner Cody Crawford.
Teeter joined C.R. Crawford in 2017 as vice president of project management and will assume the role of president effective Monday. Cody Crawford will remain actively involved in the company.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity,” Teeter said. “Cody founded the company on solid values such as integrity, quality, and dependability, and I’m excited to take on this new role and continue leading with those values in place. We have an extremely talented team at C.R. Crawford — providing opportunities for our people to grow and serving our clients’ unique needs will continue to be our priority.”
Crawford said he would focus on the company’s growth and client relationships.
“It’s not the C.R. Crawford way to sit idle,” Crawford said. “We have a lot of racehorses in this company who want to run and we want to harness that energy, experience, and knowledge to the advantage of our company, employees, and clients. After discussion among the partners of C.R. Crawford, we felt it was time to allow others within our group an opportunity to steer this ship. John Teeter has been an extraordinary asset to our company and he has our full confidence.”
Crawford founded the company in 2006 with partner Jason Keathley and the company had revenue of $200 million in 2020 when Cody Crawford was a finalist for business executive of the year at the 2021 Arkansas Business of the Year Awards.
