2 min read

Engineering and design firm Crafton Tull of Rogers has announced an expansion of its landscape architecture team, which will now operate under the name Prism Design Studio, the company announced in a news release.

Jenny Burbidge, who founded Prism Design Studio as an independent company in 2022, has joined Crafton Tull as vice president. Burbidge will lead the new group, which will combine the landscape design staff of the two firms and will operate as an extension of Crafton Tull.

The Prism Design Studio expansion consists of eight people, including licensed landscape architects Barry Williams and Fallon Henry. The group will offer specialized expertise, including site master planning, parks and recreation development, outdoor recreation facilities, and urban design, including hardscape design and streetscape design.

As part of the expansion, Prism Design Studio employees will become Crafton Tull employee-owners through the company’s employee stock ownership Plan. Crafton Tull became a 100% employee-owned company in 2019.

“Prism Design Studio will benefit our existing clients while opening the door to new opportunities for our firm,” Crafton Tull President and CEO Matt Crafton said in a statemenr. “We believe in Jenny’s talent and leadership, and we are excited to see her impact on this part of our business.”

Burbidge is a licensed landscape architect and an Arkansas native. Her more than 14 years of experience includes multi-family housing, mixed-use projects, urban design and park design.

She’s president of the board of directors for the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust and past president of the Arkansas chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
