Christian Turner has been hired by Crist Engineers Inc. of Little Rock. He previously served as a project manager for Afco Steel for five years. His experience includes heavy steel design, project management and field supervision of large, new scale steel erection projects and building renovations.

In addition, Patrick Bennett, survey party chief at Crist, has received his associate of applied science surveying degree from the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. Bennett previously served in the U.S. Naval Construction Battalion, better known as the Navy Seabees, as an engineering aide for six years. Spencer Thompson, who served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, has been hired as a surveyor technician at Crist Engineers.
Rich Hillman has been elected chairman of the board of Riceland Foods of Stuttgart, and Shannon Davis has been elected vice chairman. Roger Pohlner, the former chairman, has stepped down from the board leadership role but will remain on the board to serve the Riceland members in the North Central Arkansas District.

Dr. Chris Morgan has been promoted to board chairman of Farmers & Merchants Bank of Stuttgart. He succeeds Mickey Pierce, who retired after 37 years with the bank. Morgan joined the Farmers & Merchants Bank board in 2018. Additionally, Kyle Ludwig will assume the role of vice chairman. He spent more than two decades at Ludwig Distributing Co. of Stuttgart, serving as vice president and general manager.
First National Bankers Bankshares Inc. of Baton Rouge recently elected four new members to the board of directors of the bank and its banking subsidiary, First National Bankers Bank, including Mark Wilson, president and chief operating officer of First Arkansas Bank & Trust in Jacksonville. They began their tenure as board members on May 1.

Zack Sokora has been hired as a financial adviser at TMB Capital Partners of Little Rock. Sokora previously worked at the Bank of Oklahoma in its fixed-income division for three years before joining Stephens Inc. in 2022 in equity, sales and trading.
Hannah Bishop has been hired as an account executive at MHP/Team SI of Little Rock. In her new role, Bishop will be the primary liaison between the agency and many of its clients, managing client relationships, facilitating projects and ensuring the successful execution of campaigns. Emma Goad has been hired as a content studio creator and strategist, working to ensure clients get top-value strategies for their campaigns. Olivia Hicks has been hired as a public relations specialist. Before arriving at MHP/Team SI, she was an editorial assistant in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Office of Communications & Marketing. Grace Vance has been hired as a digital content producer. The former outreach and events officer for Engage Arkansas will develop compelling and engaging digital content across various channels to support clients’ campaigns and objectives.
