1 min read

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Audrey Evans has signed off on hiring an auctioneer to sell some assets of Crittenden Regional Hospital.

The Crittenden Hospital Association, which owned and operated the hospital, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last month. The organization reported $33.3 million in debts and $27.75 million in assets.

The judge’s order allows A. Jan Thomas Jr., bankruptcy trustee for Crittenden Regional Hospital, to hire Brad H. Wooley to hold the auction.

Among the assets headed for the auction block are the 9,823-SF Hamilton Clinic at 308 S. Rhodes St., the Women’s Center at 200 W. Tyler Ave. the 3,845-SF dental office building at 120 W. Tyler Ave. and 15.5 acres near the hospital, all in West Memphis, and the Riverside Clinic at 107 Nathan St., in Marked Tree (Poinsett County).

A date has yet to be set for the auction.
