Crystal Bohannan has been named president of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs after serving as the hospital’s vice president of operations since 2018, the regional health provider announced Wednesday.
Bohannan follows Dr. Doug Ross, who in November was named President of Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, a CommonSpirit hospital in Arizona.
Bohannan brings nearly two decades of experience in health care administration to her new role. Before she was the 282-bed hospital’s vice president of operations, she spent more than 10 years as executive director of operational finance for CHI St. Vincent. Before that, she served as an administrator at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, where she worked for nearly a decade.
“Crystal brings a wealth of leadership and a deep commitment to compassionate, high-quality care that aligns perfectly with our mission,” Chad Aduddell, CHI St. Vincent market president, said in the release. “Her experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow and enhance the services we provide to our community. Under her guidance, we look forward to reaching new heights in delivering exceptional healthcare for years to come.”
Bohannan holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and a master’s in business administration from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi. She is also a certified public accountant.
“CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs has a long-standing tradition of excellence, and I am thrilled to work alongside our dedicated team to provide the utmost in quality and compassionate care to Arkansans,” Bohannan said in a statement. “Together, we will build on our strong foundation and continue to serve our community with innovative solutions and a deep commitment to health and well-being.”
