D1 Training of Nashville said it would expand its fitness training franchise with new locations in Bentonville and Fayetteville.
D1 Training was founded in 2001 by former Tennessee football player Will Bartholomew, who wanted to rehabilitate an injury he sustained in an NFL training camp. The company has approximately 50 franchises nationwide including locations in Little Rock, Cabot and Rogers, and the company said another 165 locations are in planning stages.
The new northwest Arkansas franchises will be led by Steve Snider and Todd Farnsworth, who are partners in the Little Rock and Rogers franchises. A news release said one of the new locations would open within 12 months with the second following in 18 months, although which one would open first was not specified.
“Northwest Arkansas is a fast-growing community overflowing with young families and athletes that will benefit from D1 Training,” Farnsworth said. “We’ve seen how our existing locations have impacted communities by creating a positive and encouraging space for people to build relationships and better themselves.”
