New Dassault Falcon Jet Center in Louisville to Help Little Rock

1 min read

Dassault Falcon Jet said Thursday that it will open a regional distribution center stocked with the most frequently ordered Falcon parts by the end of the year at the UPS Worldport in Louisville, Kentucky.

The facility will allow customers to extend the ordering deadline to 10 p.m. for 8 a.m. delivery the next morning and will complement distribution centers in Little Rock; San Jose, California; Wilmington, Deleware; and Teterboro, New Jersey.

“Using UPS aircraft, our customers will experience faster service, later loading, next day delivery and lower cost ground transportation,” Geoff Chick, vice president of customer service for the western hemisphere, said in a news release. “Delivering the parts our customers need, when they need them, is at the forefront of all of our spares efforts.”

The Little Rock facility is the company’s largest industrial plant, which will grow to 1.2 million SF in early 2016 once the company completes a $60 million expansion. It employs about 1,750 people in Little Rock.

Dassault is considered the business aviation market leader in spare parts availability with 98.5 percent spares service level.
