Specialty contractor Paramount Metal Systems of Little Rock announced Tuesday that David Dodge is stepping down as president after 20 years.
Dodge will hold the title of president emeritus and move to a consulting role as the company transitions to a new management team, Paramount said in a news release.
“David has been widely recognized as a leading authority in the use of steel component designs as a primary resource in construction,” the company , which specializes in pre-engineered steel structures and roof systems, said in the release. “Thanks to his leadership, Paramount is well-positioned to carry on his legacy.”
Dodge’s career in the steel component and metal building industry began in 1982. He represented steel component manufacturers across several states, including Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee.
In 2004, he joined Paramount, where his work focused on enhancing the company’s design and build capabilities in the steel construction industry for various sectors, including self-storage facilities, retrofit roofing, energy-efficient solutions, commercial, industrial, educational institutions, and health care facilities.
