Denali Water Acquires Stock of Colorado, Utah Companies

Specialty waste and environmental services company Denali Water Solutions LLC of Russellville has acquired the stock of Veris Environmental LLC of Limon, Colorado, and AWS Dredge LLC of Smithfield, Utah.

Veris Environmental is a residuals management services company that provides biosolids recycling and transportation, dewatering, digester cleaning, lagoon services and sediment removal, and land application services in the western United States.

AWS Dredge is a service provider to hard rock mines in the western United States.

Denali said the stock purchase aligns with its strategic growth plan of expansion to additional markets and geographical regions. With these transactions, Denali the company is expanding into the Rocky Mountain region.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Veris Environmental and AWS Dredge teams to the Denali family. This decision aligns with our goal of building a team with strong and experienced leaders to enhance our safety-focused and quality residuals management services to our customers and to the communities we live and work in,” CEO Andy McNeill said in a news release.

Denali has 873 employees and more than 70 operations around the country, Spokesman Teresa Gallegos told Arkansas Business by email. It employs approximately 165 in Arkansas.

The company’s revenue for 2019 was $235 million, and it will be featured in Arkansas Business’ next Book of Lists.

She also said 58 Veris and AWS employees have joined Denali’s team and the company gained two new locations with these acquisitions.
