Developers Plan $22 Million Upscale Apartments in Maumelle

Groundbreaking for a $22 million upscale apartment project is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the end of River Pointe Drive in Maumelle.

First phase construction of The Villa at River Pointe Drive will encompass 108 units. 

Little Rock’s Monde Group, led by Blake Jackson, plans to develop a second 108-unit phase at 8000 River Pointe Drive.

In a news release, the company the design of the development was inspired by “the small towns along the Italian Riviera,” featuring natural materials, gardens and pools.

The Maumelle City Council approved The Monde Group’s preliminary plat and development plan and commercial building design in April.

The project is one of several multi-family developments under way in central Arkansas, and it’s less than a mile from another major development, The Greens at the Rock, a $25 million, 432-unit development on Counts Massie Road. Lindsey Management of Fayetteville is the developer of that project.
