The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that Lieven Bertels will be the keynote for its annual State of the Chamber lunch on Jan. 25.
Bertels was named director of Momentary, the arts museum being developed by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, in August. The new museum is located near the Eighth Street Market in Bentonville in the decommissioned Kraft Foods plant.
Chamber members will also be recognized at the lunch for their leadership and community service. Among those being honored is Alice Walton, who will receive the Sam M. Walton Award of Excellence.
The lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center, 3303 Pinnacle Parkway in Rogers. Tickets can be purchased on the chamber’s website or by calling its office at (479) 273-2841.
