
Lani Jennings-Hall has been promoted to marketing and communications manager for Disability Rights Arkansas of Little Rock. Jennings-Hall was previously a finance and marketing specialist.
Adena J. White is the new communications director for Excel by Eight of Little Rock, providing communications support for Excel by Eight communities in Little Rock and Conway, and Independence, Jefferson, Sevier and Union counties.
AR Kids Read of Little Rock has elected five new board members and confirmed new officers. The new members are Andy Bingham of Simmons Bank, Kedrick Jones of the Area Agency on Aging-SEAT, Ben Keller of Pulaski Academy, Brenda Leger of Frog Street Press and Leslie Parnell of Simmons Bank. Sheridan Richards, senior director of organizational development at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, will be board president. Maria Meneses, a real estate agent at Remax Elite, will be vice president. Anthony Brooks, president of Platinum Drywall, will continue as treasurer. Kieng Vang Dings, CCS Associates, will be the secretary.
Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas has announced its new board members and officers for fiscal year 2022-23. Joining the board for their first three-year terms are Frank Cox III, CEO of Cox Minshall Winans; William Edwards, president of Eagle Bank Mortgage; and Valerie Erkman, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Arkansas Federal Credit Union. The board’s new officers are Roger Marlin, Rich Dunlap, Butch Lomax, Brent Sharpmack and JayO. Howe. Completing the executive committee are at-large members Eric Gustafson and Lisa Hemme.
Trent Broussard will join Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge as an assistant professor of music and director of choral activities. Broussard will direct the university’s touring choir, the Williams Singers, and the NEA Chorale.
