Diversity Leader Janet Stovall Joins Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium

Diversity and inclusion consultant and speaker Janet Stovall will be the luncheon speaker at the Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium on April 29, organizers announced Monday.

The half-day event provides professional development for women in the workplace through sessions led by industry experts, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and more. The 2021 symposium will give attendees the choice between an in-person event at the DoubleTree Hotel and Robinson Center in downtown Little Rock or a fully interactive virtual option.

Stovall joins Zuckerberg Media CEO Randi Zuckerberg among the day’s headline presenters.

As a senior client strategist at NeuroLeadership Institute — a global research firm and cognitive science consultancy — Stovall helps companies replace subjectivity with science to evolve diversity, equity and inclusion practices to be more brain-friendly and human.

A popular speaker and workshop facilitator, Stovall’s work tackles systemic racism, focuses on understanding the value of diversity, and offers straightforward, objective solutions to unlock that value. Her TED talk challenging business to get serious about inclusion has nearly 2 million views.

Stovall holds a bachelor’s in English from Davidson College, a master’s in integrated marketing communications from Georgetown University and post-graduate certificates in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University and Yale University.
