Dover Dixon Horne Adds Ogles (Movers & Shakers)

William J. Ogles has joined Dover Dixon Horne’s growing litigation and family law practices in Little Rock. Before joining the firm, Ogles was a general litigation trial lawyer at his family’s practice, Ogles Law Firm PA.

Matthew Boch, an attorney at Dover Dixon Horne, has been appointed to the board of the National Association of State Bar Tax Sections in Little Rock. The National Association of State Bar Tax Sections is a national organization that supports state bar tax sections and tax lawyers. It provides a platform for sharing trends and best practices for state tax bars as well as in-depth coverage of federal, state and local tax topics.

Terry Mathews has been hired as an attorney at Hope Trice O’Dwyer & Wilson in Little Rock. Mathews previously was of counsel at Williams & Anderson PLC.

Mike Moore

Mike Moore, the Boone County sheriff, has announced his resignation effective April 5 to accept a position as regulatory administrator for the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration. In this position, Moore will oversee the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, Racing Commission, Medical Marijuana Commission and Tobacco Control Division. He replaces Steve Goode, who recently resigned to pursue private-sector work.

Moore, a Boone County native, has served as sheriff for seven years. He also served as county judge in Boone County for several years.
