The Downtown Association of Hot Springs announced its new board of directors on Friday.
They are:
• Board President Benny Baker, director of sales at The Arlington Resort and Spa;
• Vice President Michelle Harrison, customer service genie at Bathhouse Soapery and Caldarium;
• Secretary Greg Mabry, owner of Kringles in the Park;
• At-large Director Cindy Wagstaff, executive director of the Garland County Habitat for Humanity/Restore;
• Treasurer Mackenzie Simon, owner of Fat Bottomed Girls Cupcake Shoppe and Pour Some Sugar On Me Sweet Shoppe;
• Membership Chair Karolyn Fankhouser of Gehrki Commercial Real Estate; and
• Paul Lynch, Ex-officio board member and immediate past president. He owns State & Pride Provisions Co.
“Downtown Hot Springs welcomed 41 new businesses and over $23 million in investment in 2017, meaning our growth in downtown outpaced the average Arkansas downtown by more than 10 times for the third year in a row,” Baker said in a news release.
