The Downtown Little Rock Partnership has announced two new directors. Kyle Leyenberger is the new director of communications for the partnership. He has spent the last seven years at nonprofits focused on organizing and advocacy, and most recently served as communications director of the Arkansas Education Association. Tori Rogers is the new director of events. Rogers previously worked for companies such as Disney and Wolfgang Puck, where she was vice president of marketing and development.
Isabel Gamarra is now the director of communications and advocacy at the workforce housing center of the Northwest Arkansas Council. Gamarra has more than 12 years of experience and will handle all communications.
City Year Little Rock has hired two new directors. Brittany Paul is the new director of events and annual gifts. Paul has more than a decade of fundraising and event experience. Marquita Rogers is the new director of development and external relations. She previously created and managed an inner-city youth outreach ministry.
Eric Yarberry is the new CEO of World Services for the Blind of Little Rock. Yarberry previously was director of education and training for four and a half years and has been with the nonprofit for seven years.
Wes Ward, Arkansas secretary of agriculture, has been elected second vice president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.
Craig Douglass, executive director of the Regional Recycling District in Pulaski County, has received the Arkansas Recycling Coalition’s 2022 Recycler of the Year Award. Douglass was recognized for his development of a statewide electronic recycling program.
Robert Meek has been promoted from senior foreman to assistant manager of electric distribution systems at Conway Corp.
