E-Z Mart Files Most Applications for Getting Wet in Benton County

This is of note to readers interested in what will go down in 2013 in Benton County, where voters decided on Nov. 6 to “go wet.”

Alcoholic Beverage Control last month accepted for consideration 29 applications for retail beer permits from Benton County businesses. Fifteen of those are for E-Z Mart convenience stores.

Madison and Sharp county voters also favored in-county alcohol sales during November’s general election, but ABC didn’t accept a single retail alcohol permit application from those counties last month.
