Ebony Mitchell has been hired as director of external affairs at Arkansas Foodbank of Little Rock. Mitchell will oversee the organization’s marketing, communications and advocacy work. She was previously Miss Arkansas.


Rich Huddleston (Arkansas Community Foundation)

Rich Huddleston has been hired as program director of the Arkansas Community Foundation of Little Rock. He was previously executive director of Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families.


Matt McLeod has been announced as a partner at the Art Group Gallery of Little Rock. McLeod is a painter, sculptor and muralist, specializing in fine art for residential, commercial and public art projects.


Ken Balusek (Arkansas State University)

Ken Balusek has been hired at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as an associate professor of criminology and chair of the Department of Sociology & Criminology. He was associate chair of the Department of Psychology, Justice & Society at Rockhurst University of Kansas City, Missouri, for 13 years.


Belinda Blevins-Knabe (UALR)

Belinda Blevins-Knabe, professor of psychology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been honored as a distinguished professor by the university. She has been with UA Little Rock for more than four decades.


Wayne Bruffett

Dr. Wayne Bruffett has been hired as an assistant professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He has been practicing spine surgery in Little Rock for 25 years.


Elisabeth Engel has been named interim director of the Arkansas State University Museum in Jonesboro. She is the curator of collections at the museum and has almost 10 years of experience as director of collections and exhibits at the Waukesha County Museum in Waukesha, Wisconsin.


Nikesha Nesbitt (ASU)

Nikesha Nesbitt has been named interim dean of University College at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She has been with ASU since 2006, most recently serving as associate dean of University College and the program director for nontraditional studies.


Ted Song (John Brown University)

Ted Song has been named chief innovation officer at John Brown University in Siloam Springs. He has been an associate professor of engineering since 2012 and was previously director of innovation.


Spencer Guinn (USA Cycling Foundation)

Dr. Spencer Guinn has joined the USA Cycling Foundation’s board of directors executive committee. The foundation is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Guinn is the medical director and head team physician at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.


Ashley Randall (Baptist Health)

Ashley Randall has been hired at Baptist Health Heart Failure & Transplant Institute of Little Rock. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice and specializes in cardiology and advanced heart failure.
