Home improvement firm E.C. Barton and Co. of Jonesboro has promoted Willis Tyler, Allen Devereux, Danial Reed, and Bryan Tucker in a leadership restructuring aimed at positioning the company for growth.
Their new roles are:
- Tyler, the company’s secretary/treasurer since 2019, is now has the additional title of vice president of finance
- Devereux, director of human resources since 2007, is now vice president of human resources
- Reed, director of marketing since 2019, is now vice president of marketing
- Tucker, director of information technology since 2015, is now vice president of information technology
In a news release, the employee-owned company said the changes will “align the scope of their current duties with a commensurate title, as well as create alignment and unification across the executive leadership team.”
“As a growing organization,,” said Mark Biggers, company president, “the areas of marketing, finance, human resources, and technology continue to be a top priority and this change positions our company well for continued success as we grow and expand our footprint, both nationally and online.”
E.C. Barton operates three retail divisions – Home Outlet, Seconds and Surplus, and Barton’s. They make up a combined 120 stores across 19 states and are growing at a rate of five to seven new stores per year.
