Economics Arkansas Adds 3 To Board (Movers & Shakers)

Economics Arkansas has appointed three new members and confirmed its new board officers. Nakesha Cunningham, LeAnn Helms and Brent D. Williams are now members.

Robyn Breshears will begin her two-year term as board chair, and Chris Nail will start his one-year term as board president.


Paul Adams has been appointed as the new University of Arkansas faculty athletics representative. Adams is an associate professor of biochemistry in the Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences. Adams will be the fifth faculty member to hold this position.

The University of Central Arkansas of Conway has made two appointments. The new director of development for the College of Health & Behavioral Sciences will be Morgan Drayton. The new director of alumni engagement will be Mathilda Hatfield, the previous director of development for the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics. Both worked at UCA before the appointments.

The university also hired Leslie Coddington as an internal audit director. Coddington was previously the chief auditor for the Arkansas Department of Transportation; before that she worked as an auditor for UCA for six years.
