Eliza Borné is the new editor at the Oxford American magazine.
She replaces Roger Hodge, who left in June for a job at The Intercept and is still listed as editor-at-large on the OA masthead.
Borné, 29, is a Little Rock native. She had been serving as interim editor since Hodge’s departure and previously served as associate editor and managing editor for the quarterly literary magazine.
Before joing the OA staff in 2013, Borné was an editor at BookPage, a book review publication based in Nashville, Tennessee. The OA also added longtime contributor Jay Jennings to the masthead as senior editor.
