Entergy’s Mike Maulden Sets Retirement Date (Movers & Shakers)

Mike Maulden will retire as director of business and economic development for Entergy Arkansas at the end of January.

Maulden joined Entergy in 1984 as an industrial engineer and held several positions before taking charge of the economic development initiative Teamwork Arkansas in 1996.


Tambra Clement has been named its new people services leader at Garver, the engineering and architecture firm in Little Rock.

She previously spent 32 years in various roles at Acxiom Corp. and most recently led Master Action Plan Consulting, which she founded.


Jaime Cavitt, a Springdale teacher, and William R. Brown, environmental health and safety coordinator for XTO Energy Inc. in Heber Springs, were recognized with awards from the Arkansas Energy Education Foundation, an education and outreach effort of the Arkansas Petroleum Council/American Petroleum Institute and the Arkansas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners.

Cavitt received the Arkansas Energy Rocks! Outstanding Educator award for her work with gifted and talented students at Walker Elementary and Hellstern Middle School.

Brown received the Arkansas STEPS Network award for his work to promote safety, health and environmental improvement in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in the state.
