Envirotech Reaches Sales & Service Agreement With Missouri Bus Dealer

1 min read

Envirotech Vehicles Inc., the electric vehicle maker that’s moving its headquarters to Osceola, has reached a sales and service agreement with Central States Bus Sales Inc. of Fenton, Missouri.

The factory authorized agreement allows Central States to promote, sell and service Envirotech products, the company said in a news release. It also requires Central States to purchase at least one Envirotech van and one Class 4 or Class 5 commercial delivery truck annually. The vehicles will be used for customer demonstrations during the term of the agreement.

Central States has five locations in Arkansas, Illinois, Tennessee and Kentucky and represents manufacturers that provide public school vehicles, charter coaches and paratransit vehicles.

Envirotech CEO Phillip Oldridge said the agreement with Central States is part of the company’s growth strategy.

“We’re pleased to partner with Central States Bus Sales as we continue to expand our valuable network of Factory Authorized Representatives,” he said in the release.

Envirotech was granted a manufacturing license from the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission earlier this month. It announced in February that it had purchased a 580,000-SF facility in Osceola, where it will handle final outfitting and shipment of vehicles as it transforms the space into a full manufacturing center over the next 12-18 months.
