Envirotech Uplists to Nasdaq

1 min read

Electric vehicle maker Envirotech Vehicles Inc. of Osceola announced Tuesday that its stock has been approved to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol EVTV when the market opens on Wednesday.

The company announced its intention to uplist in May; its stock had been trading on the OTCQX.

The CUSIP number has changed to 29414V209, and shares will continue to trade on the OTCQX under the symbol “EVTVD” until trading commences on the Nasdaq. Then the company’s over the counter ticker will be retired and automatically replaced with the new Nasdaq symbol.

No action is required by any shareholders.

CEO Phillip Oldridge called in a news release the uplisting of its stock on the Nasdaq “a milestone achievement” and said it would “enhance our visibility in the marketplace, expose us to a broader audience of investors and drive increased shareholder value.”

He also said the uplisting is the culmination of the company’s considerable growth over the past year, in sales and its physical footprint. Just last week, Envirotech announced that it’s eligible for $27 million in performance-based incentives from the state of Arkansas for the $80 million development of its manufacturing facility in Osceola.
