Before joining Excel by Eight, a nonprofit focused on children’s health and education, Ballard was a unit director at the Arkansas Department of Education.

Kristin Trulock has been hired as the executive director of the Home for Healing in Little Rock.
Trulock has more than 10 years of experience in fundraising in Arkansas.
Karen Konarski-Hart has been named Chiropractor of the Year by the American Chiropractic Association of Arlington, Virginia.
Konarski-Hart has served as president of the Arkansas State Board of Health and with the Pulaski County Medical Reserve Corps.
Angela Winston has been named the director of customer services for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Little Rock.
Winston will direct customer services for the company’s fully insured group and individual health plans and for its affiliate, Health Advantage.
