Yingkai Fang has been appointed as an assistant professor of fisheries and natural resource economics at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Fang previously was a research assistant at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Mary Lackie has been named vice president of university advancement at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and president of the UCA Foundation.
Lackie has more than 30 years of experience in higher education and has held positions in areas such as enrollment, admissions, advancement and alumni services.
