Fashion Leader Rebecca Minkoff to Headline Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium

2 min read

Fashion industry leader Rebecca Minkoff will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium in Little Rock.

The designer and entrepreneur burst onto the fashion scene in the early 2000s with a line of accessible luxury handbags, accessories, footwear and apparel. After nearly two decades, Minkoff’s namesake company has grown into a global brand.

“Rebecca is such an exciting addition to our lineup,” Little Rock Soirée Publisher Mandy Richardson said. “Her approach to interacting with consumers will definitely motivate and inspire area entrepreneurs and brand managers. I’m also eager to promote the work she’s doing to financially support female entrepreneurs through the Female Founder Collective and lifting up women in business through her podcast ‘Superwomen with Rebecca Minkoff.’

“The marriage of local female business leaders, professional connection opportunities and an international powerhouse is exactly the kind of programming we want to elevate, celebrate and inspire Arkansas women in business.”

Get Tickets: Early-bird ticket pricing, which ends today (Jan. 31), is $175 and includes the keynote luncheon. You can register and purchase tickets here. The event is from 8:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Little Rock.

Now in its second year, the half-day Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium provides professional development for women in the workplace through sessions led by industry experts, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and more. Last year’s event featured a luncheon interview with Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg, the co-founders and CEOs of theSkimm. The event has spawned its own newsletter, The Work Wife, available free here.

Sessions at this year’s event include “Think Like an Owner/Act Like an Entrepreneur” led by Kim Lane; “Know Your Worth: How to be More Confident in Life and Business” led by Christina Lecuyer;  and “Financial Freedom & Better Money Habits” led by Heather Albright and Magen Tune.

Other scheduled sessions are “Navigating the Boardroom and Beyond,” “Driving Engagement & Culture Through Leadership,” “Gender Equity & Social Justice” and “Personal Branding & Social Media.” You can read more details about each session here.

The Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium is presented by Delta Dental and The Hatcher Agency, and the keynote is sponsored by Bank of America. It is part of an Arkansas Business Publishing Group effort to bring leadership-focused opportunities to professionals in Arkansas.
