A three-story retail-office building on the Fayetteville downtown square sold for $1.7 million.
Westwood Holdings LLC of Rogers, led by Dusty Graham, bought the Kelly Eason Building at 100 W. Center St. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and was renovated by Robert Kelly of Core Architects.
Dusty Graham is a principal at Core Architects.
The seller was Kelly Eason Building LLC of Fayetteville, led by Kelly’s Sequoyah Mount Management LLC. Kelly bought the building in 1990 for $50,000 from the Eason family.
The building, which has multiple tenants, is more than 19,000 SF. It was built in 1889.
Signature Bank of Fayetteville assisted the purchase with a loan of $1.3 million. Westwood Holdings also took a $400,000 mortgage with Kelly Eason Building LLC.
Steele Boulevard Lot
A 3-acre plot in uptown Fayetteville sold for more than $1.15 million.
MB007 Trust, led by Marjorie Brooks, bought the property. The land is at the intersection of Steele Boulevard and N. Shiloh across from Steele Crossing shopping center.
Brooks’ MSB Properties was one of the sellers of the land. Nanchar Inc., led by Charlotte Steele, was the other seller.
Citizens Bank of Batesville assisted the purchase with a loan of $1.1 million.
John Tyson Purchase
Tyson Foods Inc. Chairman John Tyson paid $685,000 for a 5,827-SF retail building on East Emma Avenue in Springdale.
The building, located at 318 E. Emma, is just across the street from Tyson’s renovated original headquarters.
Tyson bought the property through TBB Land Holdings LLC. The sellers were Charles and Enola Bunton.
Prairie Grove Harps
The city of Prairie Grove bought a 14,700-SF building that was owned by Walmart Inc. and Harps Food Stores in the past two years.
Prairie Grove paid $750,000 for the property, which Walmart opened as an Express store after buying the property for $247,000 in 2011. Walmart announced it was closing its Express stores in 2016, and Harps bought the Prairie Grove location.
When Harps bought the property, it said it would resell it because there was already a Harps location in Prairie Grove. Harps paid $700,000 for the Prairie Grove property in June 2016.
Bailey Street Apartments
A Springdale apartment complex sold for $820,000.
William and Laura Nystrom bought a four-building complex on Bailey Street.
Each of the buildings houses eight units that total in the neighborhood of 5,500 SF.
The seller was Robert Hensley of Bentonville. Hensley bought the property in 2013 for $660,000.
Generations Bank in Fayetteville assisted the purchase with a loan of more than $618,000.
Greenhouse Grille
The Fayetteville restaurant Greenhouse Grille sold for $590,000.
Cary and Cynthia Arsaga of Fayetteville bought the 3,207-SF restaurant, which is located at 481 S. School Ave. The seller was The Mill District LLC, led by Tom Bourdeaux.
The Arsagas bought the property through their Frog & Crow Enterprises LLC. The Bank of Fayetteville assisted the purchase with a loan of $900,000; the mortgage included two plots in Washington County that totaled nearly 33 acres.
Storage Complex
A mini-warehouse property in Fayetteville sold for $415,000.
Happy Hollow Properties LLC of Wesley, led by Shawn and Holly McCarthy, bought the property at 1127 Happy Hollow Road. The seller was Huark Properties LLC of Fayetteville, led by Edward Hurley.
Cornerstone Bank of Eureka Springs assisted the purchase with a loan of $331,000. Shawn and Holly McCarthy also signed a $83,000 mortgage with Hurley.
