An orthopedic surgeon who works with the University of Arkansas athletic department is the proud new owner of a Fayetteville home after a $2.27 million purchase.

Wesley Cox, a physician with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and his wife, Alexis, bought the 5,707-SF home on North Autumn Brook Lane in the Parkerman Estates subdivision. The five-bedroom, six-bath house is on a 1.5-acre lot and has amenities that include an in-ground pool.

The sellers were Jeff and Trish Dick of Fayetteville. The Dicks acquired the property for $160,000 in 2015. Jeff Dick is the president of White River Drywall in Springdale.
