The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and U.S. Small Business Administration announced Tuesday the release of financial training curriculum for new and aspiring business owners.
The FDIC developed the curriculum, Money Smart for Small Business, in partnership with SBA to introduce entrepreneurs with limited or no formal business training to day-to-day business organization and planning.
The agencies designed the curriculum to be delivered through organizations such as financial institutions and small business development centers. The curriculum is part of the FDIC’s Money Smart program.
"Money Smart for Small Business" includes a scripted instructor guide, participant guide and slides. It is designed to provide immediate practical information to participants, as well as prepare them for further training.
The curriculum is available free here.
