Jeremy Colton has been hired as vice president, collection officer in the legal department of First Community Bank of Batesville.

Kirby Carlson has been named president and CEO of Fidelity Bank of West Memphis. Carlson has worked in every department of Fidelity Bank during the past 18 years.

Lance Christian has been hired as vice president and business development officer at Stone Bank of Little Rock. Christian specializes in government-guaranteed loans and will be headquartered in Atlanta.
Megan Crist has been hired as a mortgage loan officer and business development officer at the Bryant office of First Service Bank of Greenbrier.
Education

Carole Farmer has been appointed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders to a seven-year term on the board of trustees of the Arkansas State University System. Farmer is a certified medical practice executive and owns Arkansas Medical Management Consulting LLC.
Rodney Abston, Misty Baugh, and Detrich Wiley have been appointed to the board of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Foundation Fund.

Judd Deere has been appointed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders to the University of Arkansas board of trustees. Deere will remain deputy chief of staff in the governor’s office while serving on the board.
Health Care

Fenghuang “Frank” Zhan, a tenured professor of medicine and the research director of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute’s Myeloma Center, has been invested in the Bart Barlogie Chair for Myeloma Research by the UAMS College of Medicine of Little Rock. Zhan is the inaugural holder of the endowed chair.

Julie Windholz has been hired as a physician at the Thomas & Lyon Longevity Clinic at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging of Little Rock. Windholz also serves as an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Geriatrics.

Olivia “Katy” Davis, an advanced practice registered nurse, has been hired as a provider at White River Health Family Care-Mountain View.

Vasile Popa, a board-certified neurologist, has been hired at Baptist Health-Fort Smith.

Dennis Curtis Jr. and Kelley Curtis Dunlap have been named to Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors by Forbes Media of Jersey City, New Jersey. Dunlap is senior vice president/investments with Stifel Nicolaus & Co. of Little Rock, and Curtis is a senior vice president/investments at Stifel Financial Corp. of St. Louis and is the branch manager of Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Additionally, Dunlap was named to Forbes’ Best-in-State Women Wealth Advisors list by Forbes Media for the fourth straight year.

Ron Meijerink has been appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas of Little Rock.
