First Community Bank of Batesville on Tuesday announced the members of its inaugural business board of directors for the Little Rock market.
“We are excited to bring together such a distinguished group of leaders to serve on our business board,” René Julian, the bank’s community president in Little Rock, said in a statement. “Their diverse expertise and commitment to the community will be invaluable as we continue to grow and serve our customers in the Little Rock market.”
The business board members are:
- Mary Ann Campbell, known as “Dr. MAC,” is a consumer advocate, community leader, and money “edu-tainer.” She served as the presidentially appointed chair of the National Women’s Business Council, a founding member of the International Women’s Forum-Arkansas chapter, and chair of the advisory council for the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Centers. Campbell served on the Southwestern Bell Telephone five-state small business advisory panel. She received national awards for her Money Magic ETV series on PBS and taught personal finance at the University of Central Arkansas and University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
- Jon Kennon is the owner and president of iRealty Arkansas, which has five offices and 175 agents throughout Central Arkansas, selling over $2 billion in real estate in the last nine years. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas. Kennon began his career at Boyd Metals, where he worked for 12 years before managing iRealty Arkansas full-time in 2018. He is also a co-founder of JAMM Fabrication, E-Steps Investors, SK Innovations, and Kennon Enterprises. He serves as treasurer on the board of directors for the Little Rock Realtors® Association and is active in the local chamber of commerce.
- Steve Landers is a businessman and philanthropist from Benton known for founding one of Arkansas’ largest chain of automotive dealerships. He is CEO of the Steve Landers Auto Group and has interests in McClarty Automotive. Landers is also involved in the horse racing community and has been appointed to the Arkansas Racing Commission. He is active in charitable works through the Steve Landers Family Foundation and was a candidate for mayor of Little Rock in the 2022 election.
- John R. Marshall is president of Coastal Partners Inc., an energy consulting company founded in 1999 and located in Little Rock. The company primarily operates in the electric consulting sector. Marshall is also a board advisor and energy sector consultant, currently serving on the board of TPPG. He is a licensed professional engineer in Arkansas and serves on the dean’s advisory council emeritus and executive committee of the University of Arkansas College of Engineering. Marshall holds degrees from the University of Arkansas and Harvard Business School. His previous roles include vice president at Entergy, president of Duquesne Light Company, energy segment executive resource at Oaktree Capital, and executive vice president of Utility Operations at Kansas City Power & Light.
- Brandon Tedder is the founder of Renaissance Homes and a prominent Arkansas home builder, specializing in developments in Hot Springs Village. He established the residential construction company in December 2002 after working as a supervisor for a large residential contractor. Tedder holds the Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation and is active in industry leadership, serving on the board of directors for the Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock (past president, 2012) and the Home Builders Association of Arkansas (past president, 2016). He earned a bachelor’s in business from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s in healthcare administration from University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
- Ronald Wilkerson is the founder of Bridge 2 Success, a youth-oriented nonprofit established ten years ago in Little Rock. Bridge 2 Success provides free program services and operates during the summer and after school, focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution, and academic subjects. Wilkerson is also the pastor of Faith Temple Deliverance Church of God in Christ. The organization serves as a vital resource for young people in the community.
