First Community Bank of Batesville Names 4 to Board of Directors, NWA Market (Movers & Shakers)

First Community Bank of Batesville has named the newest members of the inaugural board of directors for the northwest Arkansas market: Dr. Wesley Cox, Ashley Harris, Meredith Lowry and Nathan Ogden. Cox holds multiple medical positions, including section chief for UAMS Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Clinic in Fayetteville and team physician for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Harris is the vice president of marketing and communications at Ozarks Electric Cooperative of Fayetteville. Lowry is a patent attorney at Wright Lindsey Jennings of Little Rock. Nathan Ogden is president of Pick-It Construction of Fayetteville. The board will oversee the growth of the bank in northwest Arkansas.


Jeffrey Hendricks (UMB Bank)

Jeffrey Hendricks has been hired as vice president, relationship manager II at UMB Bank of Kansas City, Missouri. Working from Little Rock, he will administer a book of trustee and escrow agent appointments. Before joining UMB, Hendricks was vice president, corporate trust administrator at Bank OZK of Little Rock.


Steve Shields (Carty & Company)

Steve Shields has been hired at Carty & Co. Inc. of Little Rock as a public finance relationship banker. Shields was previously the director of the North Little Rock Parks & Recreation Department and, before that, the men’s basketball coach at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.


Josh Moore has joined Crist Engineers Inc. of Little Rock as the northwest Arkansas office leader. Moore has 26 years of experience in municipal and utility engineering.


Shawn Carrol (East Harding Construction)

Shawn Carroll has been named partner and stockholder at East Harding Construction of Little Rock. He currently serves as the senior vice president of operations of the company.


Mark Martin (TOLM)

Mark Martin has been hired as director of engineering at TOLM Group Inc. of Morrilton. He will be responsible for leading and supervising various engineering projects, teams and clients across Arkansas and other areas of the United States.
