First Community Bank Adds, Promotes New VPs (Movers & Shakers)

Paul Hindman has been promoted to senior vice president, chief regional lending officer in Jonesboro at First Community Bank of Batesville. Hindman will oversee the bank’s loan portfolio in Craighead and surrounding counties. Jake McKibben has rejoined First Community Bank as a vice president, commercial lender, working in the Independence County region.

April Lafferty has been promoted by Arvest Bank of Bentonville to business banker II in Cabot. Lafferty will focus on small-business lending in Cabot and the surrounding areas. She has 14 years of experience and holds an American Bankers Association certificate in small business.


April Chapman has joined Stone Bank of Mountain View as a Small Business Administration loan closer. She previously worked at First Internet Bank of Chicago and Byline Bank of Schaumburg, Illinois. James Futrell has joined Stone Bank as a senior credit analyst. An accounting graduate of Louisiana State University, he was formerly a credit analyst with Bank OZK of Little Rock and Union Bank of Benton.


Drew Gainor of the Gainor District Office of Northwestern Mutual in Conway has been named a 2022 Forbes List Financial Security Professional. Gainor is one of three in Arkansas to be named for demonstrating excellence in financial planning.

Becca Kiser, an audit manager for Forvis of Little Rock, has been named to a two-year appointment in the Government Accounting Standard Board Practice Fellow Program. The GASB is an independent, private-sector organization that establishes accounting and financial reporting standards for state and local governments.


Tracy Black and Stefan Sterns have been promoted to partner by NewRoad Capital Partners of Rogers. Black leads the operating partner team in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and advising portfolio companies. Sterns is responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, leading deal execution and the management of portfolio companies.
