Matthew Boyd

Matthew Boyd has been named market president in Cabot for First Security Bank of Searcy. Boyd has worked at First Security since April 2018, serving as vice president/loan officer in Searcy, and has been in commercial lending and management for more than 19 years.

Steve Cox

Steve Cox has been hired at SafeHaven Security Group of Rogers. Cox has more than 13 years of experience in business, economics and workforce development.

Ricky Byrd

Ricky Byrd has been promoted to president of the commercial sector at Caddell Construction of Montgomery, Alabama. Byrd joined Caddell in 2017 to launch the commercial business unit out of the first corporate branch office in Bentonville.

Education

Chase Selby

Chase Selby, president of CTEH of North Little Rock, has joined the board of trustees of the Arkansas Research Alliance of Little Rock. Selby oversees all of CTEH’s operations, finances and personnel across the United States.

Jaime Land

Jaime Land has been named director of government relations at Arkansas Tech University of Russellville. Land has worked in Arkansas state government since 2016.

Health Care

Dr. John Montgomery and Dr. Tsukasa Nakamura have been hired as liver, kidney and pancreas transplant surgeons at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences of Little Rock. Both will also serve as assistant professors in the College of Medicine’s Department of Surgery.

Peter Fischer

Dr. Peter Fischer has been hired as the medical director of trauma surgery at Washington Regional of Fayetteville. In this role, he is responsible for the quality of care and scope of services for Washington Regional’s Level II trauma center.

Dr. Tiffany Weathers has been hired at Northwest OB/GYN-Willow Creek of Springdale. Weathers specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and is accepting new patients at Northwest OB/GYN-Willow Creek.

Priscilla Collier

Priscilla Collier has been hired as an advanced practice registered nurse at Claude Parrish Cancer Center of Harrison. Collier’s clinical expertise spans family practice and hematology-oncology.

Legal

Nathan Finch has become a partner at the Rogers office of Kutak Rock LLP. Finch’s transactional practice focuses on real estate and commercial transactions. In addition, Timothy Harper has been made partner at the Little Rock office of the firm. Harper primarily practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business law, and corporate finance and securities. And Caleb Sugg has been made partner at the Fayetteville office. Sugg focuses his practice on commercial, health care and general civil disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts across Arkansas and Florida.

Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC of Little Rock has elected seven attorneys as new partners, effective Jan. 1. They are: Colt Galloway, Audra Hamilton, Jacob McElroy, Jeff McWhirt, Michael Nored, Emily Runyon and Jack Talbot. The attorneys’ new status was incorrectly reported in an earlier version of this story.

Nonprofits

Alex Hudson has been promoted to development manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana in Little Rock. Hudson joined the organization in September 2021.

Tourism

Malissa Jackson

Malissa Jackson has been promoted to director of sales at the Holiday Inn Little Rock Airport Conference Center. Jackson has worked in hospitality for more than 25 years.

Paxton Roberts

Paxton Roberts has been named executive director of the Downtown Springdale Alliance. Roberts will guide the organization in fostering a vibrant downtown, supporting local businesses and enhancing community experiences.

Utilities

Neil Holman, a customer care specialist at Conway Corp., was recognized with a Master Performance Award in the service area from the Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association of Milford, Nebraska. Other awardees from Conway Corp. include Jennifer Brannon, lead customer service specialist; Tressie Mazen, customer service specialist; and Renisenb McGehee, customer care specialist. They all received Master Performance Awards in the sales area.

In addition, Michelle Hatfield and Briana Jackson, customer care specialists; Toby Hibbs and Savannah Tindall, customer service specialists; Emily Keller and Kelly Johnston, customer care specialists 2; and Nicole Pizzolato, customer care team leader, were honored with Superior Performance Awards in the sales area.
