Patty Opitz has been promoted to senior associate at Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects. Morgan Holmes, Laura Lyon, Amanda Sturgell and Heather Davis have been named associates.
With more than 10 years of experience in the industry, Opitz works as a licensed architect and LEED-accredited professional at the firm’s Little Rock office.
Holmes, a registered interior deisgner in the Little Rock office, was recognized as the Emerging Professional of the Year in 2013 and Professional of the Year in 2014 by the American Society of Interior Designers South Central Chapter.
Lyon, a registered interior designer, works out of the firm’s Fayetteville office and has experience in commercial, higher education, church and health care design.
Sturgell is a licensed architect and LEED-accredited professional in building and construction and has been with Polk Stanley Wilcox for five years, working in project management, production and overall team coordination.
Davis works as a licensed architect in the Little Rock office and is heavily involved in the community and local organizations such as StudioMain, Create Little Rock and Pop Up in the Rock.
In addition, Polk Stanley Wilcox has hired four full-time designers: Jessica Lewallen, Kristin Duncan, Rachel Stephens and Kate Edwards. Lewallen is a licensed architect with more than 15 years of design experience, having coordinated with various engineering disciplines and building trades. Duncan has experience in every phase of project construction, from planning and conceptual design to construction administration. And Stephens will join the firm’s residential design team as a project designer, alongside Edwards, a recent graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture & Design at the University of Arkansas, who will work as a project designer on a variety of project types.
