2 min read

FNBC Bank of Ash Flat has hired Brad Snider as community president; Brock Fletcher as vice president and commercial lender; J.R. Blackburn as senior vice president and commercial lender; and Laura McCain as client relationship assistant for its new loan production office in Jonesboro.

The office, at 1118 Windover Road, is set to open Aug. 23. The bank also plans to submit an application to the Arkansas State Banking Department for a full-service location.

The $450 million-asset FNBC serves a six-county area, and the location in Jonesboro will be its 11th location.

Snider has more than 30 years of experience and served most recently as executive vice president and market manager for Iberiabank in Jonesboro. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arkansas State University.

Snider has also served as a board member for City Youth Ministries and the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters; is a member of the City of Jonesboro Board of Adjustments & Appeals; is past president and campaign chairman for the United Way; is past President of the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce; and and is a past board member for the Arkansas State University-Newport Foundation.

Fletcher has had a 17-year banking career. Before joining FNBC, he was vice president and commercial relationship manager at Regions Bank in Jonesboro. He holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, both from Arkansas State University. Fletcher is a member of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee and Business Network Committee. He also completed Leadership Jonesboro in 2009.

Blackburn is a 26-year banking veteran who most recently worked in Jonesboro as senior vice president and senior relationship manager at Iberiabank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arkansas State University, completed the Graduate School of Banking of the South in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and completed the Graduate Commercial Lending School in Indianapolis.

McCain has 30-plus years of experience in banking and spent the past 15 years in Jonesboro, working for Iberiabank, as a commercial relationship assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate’s degree in science from Arkansas State University.

McCain serves on the board of the Craighead County Single Parent Scholarship Fund and as local and county leadership for the Girl Scouts of Crowley’s Ridge Council. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the March of Dimes-March for Babies.

In other FNBC-related news, the bank announced in January the launch of FNBC Small Business, a new division that will be headquarters in its Batesville office but serve the bank’s entire footprint.

The bank was also designated a Community Development Financial Institution in 2016 by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, which means 60 percent of its services, products and events must benefit low-income communities, according to a news release. The designation also makes it eligible for certain grants.
