
Paul Danielson
Former Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Paul Danielson has joined the Danielson Law Firm.
His son, Erik; wife, Elizabeth “Betsy;” brother, David; David Stewart and Richard “Kyle” Lippard work for the firm, which has offices in Fayetteville and Booneville.
Danielson retired from the court on Dec. 30, having been elected in 2006 then re-elected in 2008. He previously served as a circuit judge in the 15th Judicial District for 12 years.
The Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association named him Outstanding Trial Judge for 2002-03.
Danielson graduated from Florida State University and later served in the United States Air Force. He earned his law degree in 1975 from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Then Danielson served as a law clerk to Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Frank Holt, as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Sixth and 15th Judicial Districts, and as city attorney for Booneville.
He practiced law for 18 years and taught at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law before he became a judge.
Danielson has served as a liaison to the Arkansas Continuing Legal Education Board, the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, the Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice and the Supreme Court Committee on Model Jury Instructions-Civil.
He also chaired the Committee on the Pilot Program for Appellate Mediation and the Arkansas Supreme Court Electronic Filing Pilot Program.
