The former Westside YMCA in Little Rock recently sold for $1.8 million.

The buyer was SwimGym LLC, led by Constance Raley, the owner of Maumelle Gymnastics, Cheer and Tumbling. She plans to turn to the Little Rock facility’s basketball gym into a space dedicated to gymnastics and “ninja activities,” Colliers Arkansas said in a news release.

Classes are set to begin in October, according to the Maumelle Gymnastics website.

Safety Before Skill Swim School will continue to operate at the 19,610-SF property’s pool facility.

The seller of the property at 4701 Sam Peck Rd. was Arkansas Sports Medicine LLC.

The sale closed on June 14. The buyer was represented by Wes Martin of The Hathaway Group. The seller was represented by Graham Gordon, Justin Bentley and Mason Lewis of Colliers Arkansas.

The former YMCA sits on 5.45 acres directly across the street from the Little Rock Athletic Club. It was built in 1979 and closed in 2011.

Arkansas Sports Medicine LLC purchased the property in 2012 for $1.3 million, Pulaski County property records show.
