Frank Braun Stepping Down as Dean of UA Little Rock Business College

1 min read

Frank Braun, dean of the College of Business, Health and Human Services at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has announced that he will step down as dean of the college effective July 31.

Braun will return to the faculty, where he will work on several ongoing research projects at the university.

Braun has served as dean since August 2021, when he joined UA Little Rock following a nationwide search to replace the previous dean, Jane Wayland, who had retired. He came to UA Little Rock from Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, where he was dean of the School of Business and a professor of business informatics.

A national search for a permanent replacement will begin immediately, and Deborah Baldwin, associate provost at UA Little Rock, will serve as interim dean for the university’s largest college.

“I am appreciative to Dr. Braun for his service to the College of Business, Health and Human Services,” said Ann Bain, provost and executive vice chancellor. “I wish him the best with his future endeavors.”
